At New Light Wellness, our mission is deeply personal. Dr. Angela Schultz's dedication to Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment and patient-centered primary care was forged out of a personal family tragedy.

Having navigated the painful realities of addiction within her own family, Dr. Schultz understands firsthand the fear, isolation, and stigma that patients and their loved ones face. That lived experience transformed her practice, instilling a profound sense of empathy, grace, and unwavering compassion into everything she does. She doesn't just treat patients — she walks beside them.

At New Light Wellness, we believe your past does not define your future, and your healthcare should never feel like a trial. Our mission is to break the stigma surrounding substance use disorders by providing a sanctuary of true understanding and uncompromised comfort — through virtual, patient-centered care, ensuring you feel completely seen, heard, and respected every step of the way.

How We Work — And What We Don't Do

Virtual only. All care is by video. You must be located in one of our 13 states at the time of your visit: Alabama, California, Georgia, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina.
Focused primary care, not full-scope. We cover concerns that can be handled safely by video. Care that needs hands-on exams, procedures, or vaccinations belongs with an in-person practice, and we will tell you directly if a concern falls outside what we can safely do virtually.
Self-pay only. We do not accept insurance, and every service is a flat $85 per visit. That keeps care simple — no referrals, no prior authorizations, and no insurance claim trail.
Non-judgmental, always. Stigma is a barrier to care. A relapse, a past attempt, or a rough week does not disqualify you here.
